Jalore has added a photo to the pool:

A fisherman setting up his trap. He will secure it with rocks and leave it there until the next day, or more if necessary. He explained that when the sea outside the reef is too wavy the fish will not enter the reef. Depending also on the tide he may then decide to reposition the trap if unsuccessful for more than a day or two. (as was the case here!)
