I took this snapshot of daily life in Venice, Italy, on a visit there four years ago, but even though I have always liked it I haven't uploaded it to Flickr until now for some reason. What I like about this picture is that it incorporates the classic ambiance of the setting (gondolas, canals, and a curvy walk bridge) and has a very relaxed and casual feeling to it. I also like the light, and the composition - how the group of men chatting by the gondola landing are grouped in one corner. Hope you like it too.
