Firstly, it was shot on film in 1998.



Whilst on a trip into the Everest region of the Himalaya, we fortuitously came across this little nepalese boy walking towards us (probably no older than 8 or 9) carrying his little sister on his back along one of the high altitude trails (~4,000M) we were trekking along early one morning. It was approx 1-2 deg, quite breezy and all they were seeking was a warm smile and some lip balm - we happily obliged after i took this quick shot.



Shot was taken in a remote part of the Mt. Everest region, Himalayas. Nepal - May, 1998 on Agfa 50ASA film with Nikon F601 - scanned with Nikon Coolscan 500ED in 2013.
