It's a strange feeling photographing in snowy mountains with the sun setting. With the light fading fast you are torn between running back to the safety of your tent and photographing the spectacular scenery.
The icicle covered rock in the foreground gives a good indication of exactly how ferocious the weather can get up here. For this trip we were very lucky...apart from snapping my tripod in the cold conditions...oh and rain on the last day.
