Dien Bien Phu Area, Hanoi, Vietnam.



In a back area (just outside the southern end of the Hanoi old quarter) of Dien Bien road, following the railway line (literally) along from Long Bien Bridge heading south, the railway starts to quickly meld with normal everyday life in suburbia. Many trains, mostly old diesel locomotives traverse this alley (bi-directionally) on a daily basis.



Meanwhile, locals continue on with their lives - some have shops, cafe's, fixit places - even a wine bar amongst it all - just fantastic.



This monochrome hopefully captures some of that ...
