loose_grip_99 has added a photo to the pool:
SNCF 4-6-0 230G353 at speed on the Petite Ceinture. The distinctive splay of sidings on the lower level to the right still exist and made identification possible. This is the RATP (Paris Metro) Charonne Workshops for Metro Line 2. At one time a steeply graded link line ran down from the Petite Ceinture which was used for bringing stock into the workshops.
We are between the former Ceinture stations of Rue D'Avron & Avenue de Vincennes and our train will shortly cross the Rue de Lagny in the 20th arrondissement.
