Amber Waves of Grain, Sunset from Steptoe Butte

The rolling hills of the Palouse at sunset or sunrise from Steptoe Butte are a staple for many photographers in eastern Washington. I grew up in this area but never made it up to Steptoe Butte. Finally in this late summer of 2013 I was able to make it up there and experience this place for myself. It was beautiful and peaceful. It also made me very hungry for some bread.
