Marriott International has opened its first hotel under its flagship Marriott Hotels brand in Shunde, a district of Foshan in Guangdong Province, the impressive 258-room Shunde Marriott Hotel. Under a long-term management agreement with the owner, Shunde Midea Group, the property joins the fast-growing portfolio of 19 hotels in Greater China under the Marriott Hotels’ brand.
