I sure am missing my friends in Mongolia right now - For various reasons my gig photographing the Mongolia Bike Challenge fell apart this year. So while I'm hoping to make it happen next year, I'm sitting here contenting myself with the media coming from the race rather than being there, living the lifestyle.



Either way, this was one of my fave stops during the race. It was relatively early in the day, the temperature was amazing and the atmosphere was totally ethereal. In the middle of nowhere we ran across this settlement; the family was out milking and tending their animals. Pretty cool!
