Another from our game of Kopkari last week. Kopkari is a Central Asian game similar to polo played on horseback with a goat carcass. This particular game was organized to celebrate spring and participants traveled from across the Republic to participate. Prizes ranged form money to goats to carpets; everyone had a shot at winning as the game is played as individuals, not in teams.
If you look closely you can see the white goat in the center of the image. We were seated in the back of a trailer to watch, but those standing on the ground were constantly moving to avoid the horses!
